Announcement - New Ownership
Lark Spur Line Under New Ownership
September 21st, 2026
Robert and James Peck have some Exciting News: Lark Spur Line Ltd, the Model Train store in Merrickville, Ontario, is now under new ownership!
We are thrilled to announce that we have officially taken over as the new owners of the store. We are grateful for all the work Jeff, Pat and all the previous staff have done to build the store from its 1978 mail-order beginnings to the well-known and respected model railroad business that we enjoy today. We know how much this hobby means to you, and our primary goal is to ensure a seamless transition.
What you can expect:
- Business as Usual: Your special orders, pre-orders, and favourite product lines will remain fully supported.
- The Same Great Team: The staff you know and trust will still be here to help you. Cam Wales is staying on as the store manager even as he pursues his political career, running as a candidate for mayor of the city of Brockville.
- Exciting Updates: We have expanded the retail space within the store to allow us to display a larger inventory, and we have expanded our N scale section with the inclusion of some unique Canadian items. Our online Presence is changing as we begin to move our inventory to an online shop, allowing us to serve and ship to our customers worldwide.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the store on Saturday, September 26th for our grand reopening party. If you missed it, please stop by soon and be sure to check out our updated online store for new arrivals.
We look forward to continuing to serve your model railroading needs.
Thank you,
Robert and James Peck
